About us
It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion. B6 Toxicity Support was created to provide a space where individuals suffering from Vitamin B6 toxicity could find support and understanding. We strive to spread awareness, advocate for change, and offer guidance to those navigating this challenging condition.
Our mission
Our mission is to shed light on Vitamin B6 toxicity, advocate for safer limits, and provide support to those affected. Many doctors lack sufficient knowledge about this condition, and we aim to fill that gap by offering a platform where experiences can be shared and validated.
What makes us different
Unlike many organizations, B6 Toxicity Support is driven purely by the desire to help others. We have no financial gain and are dedicated to sharing information, raising awareness, and supporting individuals through their journey with B6 toxicity.
Our inspiration
Inspired by the lack of awareness and understanding surrounding B6 toxicity, we sought to create a space where those affected could be seen, heard, and supported. We believe in the power of community and the importance of advocating for change to improve the lives of those impacted by this condition.
Biggest misconceptions
One of the biggest misconceptions is that because Vitamin B6 is water-soluble, high doses are harmless. However, many individuals in our support group have experienced toxicity with as little as 1 mg of supplemental B6 daily. More research is urgently needed to understand the risks associated with Vitamin B6 toxicity.
Our goals
Our primary goal is to advocate for changes in the safe limits of Vitamin B6 in the United States, Canada, and other countries. We aim to align these limits with the recommended daily allowances of less than 2 mg daily. Additionally, we seek to implement warning labels on products containing Vitamin B6 to inform consumers about the potential risks.
